For the "Famous Couples" book series, my chosen topic elaborates on "Turkish Unforgettable Duos". I chose three distinct couples that significantly made an impression on Turkish public opinion:
Nilüfer and Kayahan: I focused on their musical collaboration and copyright dispute. My design features a damaged guitar surrounded by money stacks, symbolizing the impact of money on music and friendship.
Zeki Alasya and Metin Akpinar: I illustrated their enduring friendship post-Zeki Alasya's death with balanced scales representing their harmonious competition. Gold accents on the back cover pay homage to their film "From Village to the City" (Koyden Indim Sehre).
Sezen Aksu and Onno Tunç: They are known for their musical collaboration and relationship despite their upheavals. I captured their enduring musical collaboration and relationship through knotted ropes forming a treble clef.
